RDRAM Speeds up Eizo LCD Panels
Rambus has announced that six of Eizo Nanao's FlexScan flat-panel LCD displays will use the company's ASIC and RDRAM components. Using RDRAM, Rambus claims Eizo was able to reduce controller pin count and the number of memory components in the displays to lower production costs and increase performance. Rambus currently boasts the integration of RDRAM into more than 250 products.
