Rambus sells more licensing rights to Toshiba
Toshiba has announced that it will license DDR memories, SDRAMs, FCRAMs, and controllers that directly interface with SDRAMS from Rambus. The move may signal the Japanese company's belief that Rambus could win its legal claim asserting that nearly the entire chip industry owes it royalties. Rambus stock price rose significantly, apparently in response to the news.
