Rambus Q1 legal costs surpass $7M
Rambus Inc.'s financial report says revenues last quarter were up almost 100 percent from last year and down 10 from the previous quarter. The results included the first licensing fees from Matsushita for devices that control SDRAMs and DDR SDRAMs.
The report also refers to $7.3 million in costs associated with litigation activities. According to Rambus Inc., "Litigation expense increased sharply at the end of the quarter due to late production by Infineon of documents in the Richmond case, leading to the necessity of additional depositions."
