Rambus prepares for battle with Infineon
In a long-running legal battle as complex as any silicon-chip design, lawyers representing Rambus, a US semiconductor developer, will open the latest phase of a suit against German chipmaker Infineon in a Virginia court on Monday.
Rambus, which designs chips, sued Infineon in 2000, alleging its memory chips were based partly on Rambus’s patents.
