Rambus lawsuit update

With Hyundai Electronics joining the fight against Rambus Inc., it is beginning to look like an industry-wide all-or-nothing fight, with Rambus either winning control of forthcoming memory technologies to an unprecedented degree or losing its claim to patent ownership altogether. Assuming that these various cases actually make it to court, the subsequent decisions on the validity of Rambus patents should settle a number of serious questions.
