Benchmark Results: Far Cry 2

The raw frame rates are higher, but the Far Cry 2 results are a carbon copy of Crysis as far as relative performance goes. Even the Radeon HD 5550 DDR3 can muster 30 FPS at 1920x1200 in this game. It’s interesting that there’s so little performance spread between the Radeon HD 5550 GDDR5 and Radeon HD 5570 DDR3.

The picture of the gddr5 5550 DEFINITELY shows a vga output...
Is it just me or does Toms Hardware render very badly in Firefox 4 beta 3? It also doesn't render correctly in 3.6.x.

I'm using FF 3.6.8 and just lately I've been getting an awful lot of "server not found" errors.

And the picture of the gddr5 5570 does NOT show a vga output. I think the text is wrong and the pictures are correct. ???

Why? I was just letting gdilord know that he wasn't alone and who the hell are you to tell me what to do?
It looks like it is well worth going for GDDR5 if you have the choice. I'm surprised that they bothered to release a DDR3 model.
Awwww, I don't think you should drop Crysis until someone makes a GPU that can render it at max settings and 2560x1600 rez @ at least 60Hz...
@Rab1d-BDGR I owe you an apology mate as I accidentally banned you the other day and deleted all your previous posts. I am sincerely sorry about that and I hope you can forgive me.

I was just my opinion so they could do something about it as I found the same bug stop being rude
the main reason i bought the 5570 was because its low profile. if i could fit a normal sized card i could have bought the 5670. the ddr3 version of the 5570 is around the same price as the 512mb 5670 in the UK.

I felt you were being rude by telling me to start a new thread, so it looks like we're even.

the ddr3 versions came first. im guessing these gddr5 models were an afterthought.
Unless someone releases low-profile versions I don't see the HD55*0 GDDR5 getting much love. The whole point about the HD5570 GDDR3 was that it was the only commonly available low-profile card that could at least game reasonably well at 720p

Ah, I was wondering where my posts had gone to. If you find the genuine spammers and nail their asses to the floor then all will be forgiven! ^_^

I've been removing what I can and killing the new stuff but it's going to take some time to clear out all the old crap but we are working on it.
