The 3D Studio Max 9 test sees nearly identical – and impressive – results from both systems, rendering the high-definition video in less than 30 seconds. But the Puget Deluge L3 beats the Falcon Northwest Mach V by a second.

The Deluge L3 edges the Mach V by a few seconds.

On again, the Deluge L3 and Mach V produce impressive results in applying filters on a large, uncompressed image file. But Puget system’s results are more impressive.

Even with a slightly lower processor speed than the Deluge L3, the Mach V edges the competition in the Cinema 4D test.

In the speed test, Deep Fritz gives the slight advantage to the Puget system.

Puget’s Deluge L3 edges the Mach V once again in a close race that features impressive results from both systems. The Puget’s faster overclocked processor appears to be giving it a small but significant over the Falcon Northwest system in the early trials.

WinRAR gives the Mach V another slim margin over victory over the Deluge L3, but both systems’ results are exceptional.
