Qimonda to expand backend capacity and build new DRAM module facility
Qimonda today announced that it will expand its existing facility for the assembly and testing of memory ICs at Suzhou, China and will also build a DRAM memory module facility in Malaysia.
Under the expansion plan, Qimonda will invest 250 million euro to construct a second building at Suzhou Industrial Park to double the overall capacity of the plant.
