Psygnosis game to feature parental gore filter
Psygnosis will address the violence in games issue with its forthcoming PC title, DRAKAN Order of the Flame.
The game will include a "gore lockout" option that enables parents to restrict the level of graphic violence viewed by their children.
Psygnosis hopes the inclusion of this password-protected violence reduction feature will allow adults to experience the full impact of the game while ensuring that parents have the ability to screen minors from the title's violent content.
The company says the fantasy action/adventure game depicts realistic hand-to-hand sword combat that may be too graphic for some players.
DRAKAN Order of the Flame is due to appear in stores on August 20.
