ProMOS brand will cover an array of DRAM products
ProMOS Technologies chairman Hung-chiu Hu announced at a shareholders meeting yesterday that ProMOS will reinvent itself as an all-around DRAM maker with its own brand name in 2004, stepping away from the current company image as a foundry manufacturer. Hu, also the acting chairman of Mosel Vitelic, said ProMOS should go its own separate way to differentiate itself from Mosel with its own design teams and distribution networks.
