Prolink's PixelView GeForce FX 5900XT Master of Monitoring

Prolink's PixelView FX5900XT, based on the GeForce FX 5900XT, is geared for the mid-priced graphics card segment, while at the same time offering the latest technology.

This graphics card runs at a core clock of 390 MHz in 3D and 300 MHz in 2D mode. Its 128 MB of graphics memory is physically controlled with 350 MHz via the DDR process, which is also marketed as "700 MHz". As a point of comparison, the GeForce FX 5950 Ultra runs at 475 MHz. Also, the FX 5900XT retails for $195 - well below half the price of the GeForce FX 5950 Ultra. Furthermore, the customer gets good overclocking qualities and nifty monitoring features as a bonus.

Interface-wise, the card is equipped with an analog VGA-out and a DVI-out (analog and digital). Also included in the package is an adaptor for the DVI-out, which lets you hook up another analog display. Nowadays, an S-video output is practically standard in every price class.
