TG News covers former Presidents Clinton and H.W. Bush keynote at CTIA Wireless

by - source: Tom's Hardware

Orlando (FL) - At 9:30 AM EST today former Presidents Clinton and H.W. Bush will make their joint keynote speeches at the CTIA Wireless convention in Orlando Florida. We will be covering the keynote and have already set up our cameras three hours early because of Secret Service restrictions.

In the one hour keynote, the former presidents will talk about the future of wireless communications in both the United States and around the world. Both presidents are no strangers to wireless. Back in 1999, President Clinton signed the Wireless Communications and Public Safety Act which designated 911 as the emergency number for both wired and wireless phones. President H.W. Bush has spoken several times at wireless keynotes at other conventions.

Still and video media personnel were required to set up their equipment by 6:30 AM and then leave the room. Presumably the Secret Service will then sweep the room and check the cameras. We guess a camera expert will press the shutters, hoping that a hole or laser beam won’t shoot out of the lens.
