Prescott P4 chips may not be mainstream till mid-2005 despite price cuts
Despite Intel’s aggressive price reductions on 90nm P4 chips, Taiwan motherboard makers believe the Prescott chip will not hit the mainstream until mid-2005, according to sources at Taiwan motherboard makers.
