Police get head-cams
London (England) – Police in the United Kingdom are getting hat-mounted video cameras to record arrests and crimes in progress. The Home Office is funding the nation-wide rollout after successful regional trials.
The cameras record to an Archos portable media player which has an integrated hard drive. Videos that aren’t used in arrests are deleted after 31 days.
