Polaroid i-Zone Adds Tunes

It's been a while since I was a teenager (but not as long as you might think), so I'll have to take Polaroid's word that its i-Zone cameras are popular with the kiddie crowd. The cameras produce i-Zone mini photo stickers and the latest version includes a built-in FM radio, a belt clip, and detachable headphones. It's actually kind of amusing to see how heavily Polaroid markets these little gadgets to teens with stuff like free lipstick, as you can see over at the i-Zone site (for entertainment purposes only). It's more amusing that Polaroid sends out press releases to all us stodgy grown-ups in the press that have lines like "a two-in-one lifestyle accessory for tune-toting teenagers." Oh well, for whatever reason, I guess it works since I just quoted the release (and linked to the site). The i-Zone camera 's built-in FM radio has scan/reset tuning, volume control and ear bud headphones. i-Zone cameras are focus-free, have a flash range of from two to eight feet, and feature three picture-taking settings. The camera dines on AA batteries, the first two of which are included with the camera. The i-Zone Instant Camera with FM Radio is available now for a suggested retail price of $24.99. Film is sold separately for around $6.99 for 12 exposures of sticker film and $5.99 for non-sticker film.
