Conclusion

Until Apple updates the iPod Nano (or replaces it), you get better value and more features from other devices. If you want small and light, and you can cope with the tiny joystick, the Creative Zen V is cute, colourful and capable.
But if you can cope with a player that's just a little larger and heavier, the Sansa e270 gives you more storage, expandability, a replaceable battery with excellent life, voice recording, photo and videos on a very watchable screen and all in a sturdy but stylish case.
