PNY releases factory-overclocked GeForce 8800 GTX
PARSIPPANY (NY) - PNY Technologies has released a new GeForce 8800 GTX graphics card that is factory overclocked by approximately 10%. The XLR8 card boasts 768 MB of GDDR3 graphic memory along with overlocked core, shader and memory speeds.
The XLR8 manages to squeeze out a 621 MHz core clock, a shader clock speed of 1.45 GHz and a memory frequency of 2.0 GHz. These rates around 8% to 10% faster than the stock card rates of 575 MHz, 1.35 GHz and 1.8 GHz.
PNY’s XLR8 is for PCI Express slots and will retail for approximately $580.
