Playing The Wii On A Movie Theater Screen
What’s the biggest screen you could possibly run a Nintendo Wii on ? How about 344" of cinema widescreen ?
That’s right folks... Some industrious chaps rigged themselves up their own motion sensor for less than $20 (link to schematics below) ; and used a digital projector which the local cinema uses to show advertisements between features to display the Wii output. The quality is pretty damn good for the size of screen, and with that big a room you’ve got less to worry about in hitting your mate during a game of tennis.
With the huge screen and Wiimote speaker the ambience is actually quite good in a cinema, it would seem.
The How To... Step one presumably being "Befriend a cinema manager."
