Picvue Optoelectronics to ignite Taiwan's first TFT LCD glass furnace this month
Picvue Optoelectronics Technology, a subsidiary of Picvue Electronics, has scheduled igniting Taiwan's first TFT LCD glass-smelting furnace this month. If everything goes smoothly, the company will begin volume production and shipments of 0.7- to 1.1mm-thin glass substrates for Taiwanese TFT LCD and color filter (CF) producers by November.
