Phoenix supports EFI in principle, but not ready to launch related products
Phoenix Technologies, the world’s leading provider of BIOS solutions, in principle supports the EFI (extensible firmware interface) as a new standard for the interface to boot PCs, but will only launch solutions implementing the standard when the market becomes more mature, said George Man, Phoenix vice president and head of the Asia-Pacific region.
