Philips wins CD-R patent lawsuit in appeals court ruling
The US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC), on September 21 made its final judgment upholding Royal Philips Electronics’ claim that Gigastorage and Princo, two Taiwanese optical disc makers, infringed on Philips’ CD-R patents, according to a press release by Philips Taiwan on September 27.
