LG.Philips LCD to introduce 47" LED-based LCD TV panel

LG.Philips LCD is planning to roll out 47" LCD TV panels that feature an LED backlighting source as early as the second quarter, according to sources. The 47" LED backlit TV panel will have a dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and resolution of 1920x1080, said the sources.
