Since this game doesn't have its own benchmark mode, we used FRAPS to measure the frame rates. We started a new race (Japan, stage 2), then aborted the race (retire) and measured the frame rate of the following 360° camera shot.

The demo version of Colin McRae runs extremely fast on ATi cards. At least that's the impression we got when comparing the FX 5950 to the Radeon 9800XT. The 6800 Ultra remains completely unimpressed, however, and ends up once again delivering twice the performance of the closest competitor with increasing resolution.
