To measure the performance in Breed, we used FRAPS to determine the frame rate in the opening sequence of the single player demo. The Breed engine uses both pixel shader effects and stencil shadows.

Despite increasing resolutions, the GeForce 6800 Ultra shows only a small performance drop-off and therefore commands a respectable lead over the rest of the field by the time we reach the highest resolution.
