PDA sales offset PC downturn?

While PC sales have suffered recently, some analysts say that consumer investment in computing power has simply shifted from their desktops to their briefcases. PDA manufacturers like Palm and Handspring are struggling to increase manufacturing capacity fast enough to keep up with demand for the newest and most fashionable organizer with the most features. Some analysts believe the trend will only accelerate as convergence brings wireless and Web capabilities to organizers.
