PICS: The Dirtiest, Nastiest, Computers Ever
Filthy things!
One can never be too clean about their gaming or working environment--or can they?

For many, cleaning their computer isn't the most important thing on the list. Sometimes though, things get really dirty and dust, hair, and other things get clogged up inside PCs. Sometimes it's the environment, but for the most part, it all boils down to self maintenance.
The Register recently posted a gallery of some of the dirtiest PCs they could find. Be warned though: some of the images can be pretty shocking.
How does the inside of your PC look? How often do you clean its innards?

Sweet mother of crap, what the hell is that stuff?!
Was just about to say "aint those the pics that theregister.co.uk posted over a month ago"
Then i checked the link to the gallery......
I call shenanigans !
Just dust and debris that have accumulated over time. Fans move air and therefore invite dust particles to settle, which is made worse by poor case design and fan improper airflow.

The worst dust I ever in domestic environment was from PC's located near the floor, along with owners who smoked or had pets. My cat's hair used to clog around the CPU and PSU fans, but I'd gladly clean all that out just to see him again
In an industrial scenario (power supplies), the dust can be absolutely incredible.
A-ha ha..AMD's 'Spider' Platform taken a bit too far..

Mobo on that picture must be old one because it has an AGP slot (Brown ones).
Wow, I suddenly feel glad about buying filters for my intake fans! - And I thought they were just gimmicks!
Believe me they help! My room gets rediculously dusty due to the wood flooring, after clearing out my dust filters every now and then I can honestly say they're saviours.
