With the peak season coming, panel makers plan to raise prices for monitor panels in the range of $5-12, according to the makers. In July, prices for 17" panels started increasing from $102-103 to $110, with prices for 19- and 19" widescreen panels also rising $1-3 in August thanks to increasing orders from system and branded makers, sources said.
