Panda Software has released a new antivirus package that claims to have an ultra-light memory footprint. The Antivirus 2007 software combines an antivirus, anti-phishing and anti-spyware scanners and can be installed on up to two machines for one price.

In the press release, Panda claims that the software "detects and blocks unknown threats more effectively than traditional heuristics and with an extremely low rate of false positives." Despite the claimed effectiveness of detection, the company says the software is so lightweight that it can run on a 150 MHz Pentium with just 64 MB of RAM.

Panda Antivirus is available for $30. Additional licenses are $15 each.
