Panasonic's Deluxe Ni-MH Rechargeable Battery Set
Rechargeable batteries can be a pain in the neck unless you buy two sets so that one is charging while the other's in use. However, they're much more environmentally friendly than disposables. If you're looking for some rechargebles to power all the toys you receive over the holidays, Panasonic just told us about its deluxe set of Nickel-Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) rechargeable batteries. The new package features a selection of rechargeable batteries and a Fast Charger to power products including digital cameras, portable CD players, handheld PCs and flashlights. In addition, the deluxe set offers C- and D-sized battery adapters that make it possible, on a temporary basis, to use AA- and AAA-sized batteries in applications that call for larger C- and D-cells. That way, if you neglect to buy the right batteries for your loved ones' gifts, you can get them going using smaller batteries. The suggested retail price for the Panasonic Deluxe Set Ni-MH Rechargeable Batteries and Charger is $24.99, and a $5 mail-in rebate is also included. The Panasonic Deluxe set includes six 1600 mAh Ni-MH AA-size rechargeable batteries, two 650 mAh Ni-MH AAA-size rechargeable batteries, a fast charger, and C- and D-size battery adapters.
