Palm devices in short supply
High demand and a shortage of LCD panels and flash memory are being blamed for a shortage of Palm handheld devices.
Both the Palm III and Palm V organizers are reportedly on back order or out of stock at Palm Inc.'s own Web store, as well as at other resellers.
The company estimated the backlogs at "several weeks per product line."
