Which Board will run an FSB 1333 CPU?
Ad
During our testing, we were able to run the FSB1333 processors in all Core 2 Duo compatible motherboards. This includes (but is not limited to) Intel’s 975X, i965 and P35 chipsets.
In a few cases, such as our ASUS P5B Deluxe, the board may require a BIOS update. Although the processor worked without a hitch, the BIOS reported a missing microcode update. That said, we did not experience any compatibility issues or other problems.
We conducted all of our Core 2 Duo tests on Gigabyte motherboards. Recently, the quality of their boards has greatly improved.
Unfortunately, we were unable to use any ASUS boards. Sadly, ASUS has been unable to send us a test-sample with support for DDR2 memory to date.

I hope Intel doesn't start 2 get a monopoly...
You're probably right to worry, but I read that AMD has taken a big upswing this month... hopefully it'll sort itself out.

I even fear the game monopoly
