Opto Tech to land Kodak's PM OLED patent authorization early next month
Opto Tech expects to sign a passive-matrix (PM) organic light-emitting diode (OLED) patent authorization agreement with Kodak in early September, becoming the third Taiwanese company, after RiTdisplay and Teco Optronics, to receive Kodak's OLED patent authorization. Opto Tech will reportedly need to pay Kodak a royalty amounting to US$3.75 million, based on its OLED sales.
