One in 700 e-mails infected
According to statistics gathered by MessageLabs, a company that monitors 3 million e-mail messages a day, the number of viruses in the wild skyrocketed last year. Reportedly, the percentage of infected messages rose from approximately one in 2000 at the first of the year to one in 700 by year's end.
