PC OEMs secure long-term supply agreement with DRAM makers
The increasingly tight supply of DRAM has prompted PC OEMs, including Dell, to secure long-term supply agreements with chipmakers such as Samsung Electronics, according to industry sources. The sources noted that Dell has inked a supply agreement with Samsung, to secure a stable DRAM source through September.
