OCZ Announces High-Speed Quad Band Memory Modules
OCZ Technology Group has announced that it will produce and validate Quad Band Memory (QBM) modules based on OCZ’s brand EL DDR IC’s. The QBM modules are licensed to OCZ by Kentron Technologies, a leader in the design and manufacturing of next-generation high speed and memory intensive DDR platforms. OCZ’s validated EL DDR IC’s are anticipated to be available before the end of June 2003, just prior to the release of VIA Technologies’ PT600 chipset with dual channel QBM support.
