Nvidia Xbox chips move to production
According to The Register, Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox Media Communications Processor, consisting of a graphics chip and the Southbridge chip, has been sent to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company for production. Both Nvidia chips will be made using 0.15 micron technology. The Xbox's launch is scheduled sometime this fall.
