Nvidia to roll out integrated MCP 73 chipset for the Intel platform in Q1 07
Nvidia will introduce its first integrated graphics processor (IGP) chipset (MCP 73) for the Intel platform in the first quarter of 2007 at the earliest, according to industry sources. Although Nvidia will be able to grab an opportunity to increase its revenues by becoming a player in the entry-level chipset segment, a report from Pacific Growth Equities indicated margins will be an issue.
