Nvidia introduces family of PCI Express GPUs
Nvidia announced the first comprehensive family of PCI Express graphics processing units (GPUs). According to the company, the new chips take advantage of the additional bandwidth and features that the new I/O interconnection standard delivers. The product line includes the entry level GeForce PCX 4300, the mainstream PCX 5300 and PCX 5750 as well as the high end PCX 5950. Pricing was not disclosed.
