Viewperf 7.1.1
The Viewperf benchmarks are purely synthetic. The synthetic results carry less weight in the evaluation than the application benchmarks. We used the 7.1.1 version.
Also, we waited till the last minute for the new version of Viewperf, which actually should have been completed for this year's Siggraph. Unfortunately www.spec.org did not deliver the latest version of the benchmarks prior to our tests, although www.spec.org did publish its latest benchmark SPECviewperf 8 on August 11.
One point to note is that the Viewperf results do not always go along with the application benchmarks. The latter, however, are more valuable in practice.
