Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9, ScanSoft PaperPort, ScanSoft OmniPage, and ScanSoft PDF Converter Professional all now have Vista support, and are available from retailers and directly from the Nuance site.
"Providing full support for Windows Vista, the 2007 Microsoft Office system and Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 delivers significant benefits to our customers in terms of maximizing their user experience and the productivity gains that they can achieve," said Nuance senior VP Robert Weideman.
Microsoft watchers may remember the problems it had during a promotional Vista presentation with voice recognition, which got widespread through sites like Youtube. However, Microsoft still says that Vista and Office 2007 are the best voice recognition platforms available today. Nuanceās software titles with Vista support generally range in price from $100 - $300.
