Novatek Microelectronics expects 2Q LCD driver IC shipments to grow 75%
Despite a slowing down of LCD monitor shipments in recent months, Novatek Microelectronics predicts its LCD driver IC shipments will exceed 21 million units in the second quarter, up from 12 million units in the first quarter, said company president Steve Wang at a shareholders meeting on June 17.
