Nokia's 8265 Cell Phone

You could buy a new cell phone every year and still not have the most stylish and up-to-date electronic leash. If you're sitting there happily gazing at your little Nokia 8260, next time you're sitting at a coffee shop, be prepared for your neighbor to whip out the next generation of your little cellular wonder. Nokia says its new model 8265 phone is the company's "newest entry in the fashion category." The little number includes new features like user-changeable Xpress-on color covers, a mobile Internet browser (WAP 1.2.1), picture messaging, and an expanded capacity for downloadable ring tones. Shipments are expected to begin during the second quarter of 2002. Xpress-on color covers are being offered in orange, pink, purple, and light blue. Other features include integrated vibrating alert, an alarm clock, calendar, 1000mAh lithium-ion battery, up to three hours of digital talk time, and up to eight days of digital standby time. The Nokia 8265 weighs 3.8 ounces and measures 4.2 inches x 1.9 inches x .9 inches.
