Nokia Starts Shipping First 3G Phone
Finnish telecom equipment maker Nokia said on Friday it had begun shipping its first mobile phone offering high-speed Internet to European and Asian retailers and operators. "Nokia said its 6650 model will first be shipped to Japan's J-Phone, a unit of Vodafone, and to Mobilkom Austria this month. The firm previously said shipments of the phone would begin by the end of the month."
