Nokia introduces mobile music, games service
Helsinki (Finland) - Nokia has unveiled a new wireless platform for downloading music and games onto mobile phones.
The world’s top cell phone manufacturer detailed the new service at a press conference in London. The mobile platform aims to have a more streamline feel than services offered through mobile service providers like Sprint and Verizon.
All games will include free trials. Full versions will be priced at around $8 to $10. Some titles will also be playable online with exclusive multiplayer features.
Music downloads will be priced at around $1.35, and users will be able to transfer the files to a PC.
The new service will roll out to Europe later this year, with the US to follow.
