Nvidia unaffected by possible PS3 delay, say sources
Sales of Nvidia graphics chips should not be affected by a possible delay in the launch of Sony’s PlayStation 3 game console since the company is only licensing graphics technology to Sony instead of producing silicon for the Japanese console vendor, according to sources at Nvidia Taiwan. Sony will postpone the launch of its PlayStation 3 (PS3) game console from this spring until August, as the company is facing issues with production plans, according to an earlier report.
