Nintendo, KDDI join for wireless gaming
Nintendo Co. Ltd. has premiered in Japan an adapter that connects its Game Boy to the network of new network player KDDI. With a 32-bit CPU, the Mobile Adapter GB links Game Boy Color to portable phones. Thus connected, either Game Boy Color or the Game Boy Advance, due in March, will act as a browser capable of downloading and playing Nintendo games as well as accessing Nintendo-approved sites.
