NFL game an official embarassment
While NFL officials were banning players from making a throat-slash gesture on the field, the National Football League's marketing arm has been busy promoting a computer game in which players from all 31 teams are depicted drawing their hands across their throats.
The offending title is "NFL Fever 2000," a game marketed by Microsoft and bearing the league logo.
League officials said it was a case of one hand of the organization being unaware of what the other hand was doing.
