Super Bowl viewing OK on big screens according to NFL
The National Football League is now giving the thumbs up to churches who want to show the Super Bowl on extra large television screens. In the past weeks, the league has gone after churches and threatened legal action to stop Super Bowl viewing on greater than 55" television sets. The league now says such viewings are OK as long as no admission fee is charged.
Several churches across the nation recently scrapped their Super Bowl party plans after being threatened by the NFL. Some of the churches had wanted to charge an admission fee, while others presumably would have taken a donation.
