New Prince of Persia In Development For PC
In what might be considered a surprise announcement, Ubi Soft said today that a brand-new Prince of Persia game with Jordan Mechner, the creator of the series is currently in development. The game is being developed in the same Montreal studio responsible for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. In Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Ubi Soft will combine their efforts with Jordan Mechner to deliver a new state of the art title that will be rooted with many of the concepts that made the game so popular in the first place. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is in development for the PC, as well as current console platforms. What is not clear is if all the versions will be released at the same time or separately. Ubi Soft hopes to release Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time before the end of the year.
