New K8 desktop and notebook processors dubbed "AMD Athlon 64"
"AMD Athlon 64" will be the new product name for the company's upcoming desktop and notebook-use processors based on the K8 core, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) announced on November 19. The two product lines were previously code-named "Clawhammer."
